  1. Public Input Workshop

    May 29, 2018, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Council Chambers

    The City of Buda will conduct a Public Input Workshop to give the City Council and the general public an opportunity to participate in an interactive exercise by which the attendees can offer suggested adjustments to the boundary lines for the proposed Illustrative Plan before final consideration of the Plan by the City Council for the creation of three (3) single-member districts which will be used as boundaries for electing City Councilmembers beginning with the 2018 November Election. This workshop is open to the public with a come-and-go format. Attendees who wish to direct suggested boundary line adjustments will be provided an opportunity to sign in to do so. And, a brief presentation will be provided two times throughout the evening regarding the parameters to be considered in the process to create the boundaries.

  2. Historic Preservation Awards

    May 30, 2018, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Buda Elementary, Kunkel Room

    In honor of Preservation Month, the City of Buda Historic Preservation Commission and the Buda Main Street Program are collaborating to bring you the Historic Preservation Awards. We'll be recognizing four projects in the historic district that exemplify preservation efforts for this generation and generations to come. Join us for a reception, followed by a short awards presentation on Wednesday, May 30 in the Kunkel Room at Buda Elementary recognizing the following categories: Exterior Restoration for Residential Exterior Restoration for Mixed-Use/Commercial Adaptive Re-Use Architecturally Compatible New Structure Through the end of May, use the hashtag #thisplacematters to tell the story of your favorite historic place in Buda.
