Wiley Hopkins, Place 2

Before retiring in 2009, served in executive positions in both the private and public sectors.

In the Commercial Banking industry was Vice President/Manager of the Real Estate/Mortgage Banking department for an Austin regional holding company bank Prior banking experience included Business Development, Commercial Lending and Retail Consumer Banking.

Served during the Governors Richards and Bush administrations with the Department of Housing and Community Affairs, in the dual roles of Director of Bond Financing and Executive Vice President for the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation.
Subsequently served with the City of Austin Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Office as the Deputy Director and Director of Austin Housing Finance Corporation.

In 1999, served in the dual roles of Executive Director for the Housing Authority of Travis County and Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of the Strategic Housing Finance Corporation of Travis County.
