BUDA MAIN STREET PROGRAM
LAUNCHES TEMPORARY DOWNTOWN BUDA CURBSIDE PILOT PROGRAM
BUDA, TX - Dec. 2, 2020 - The Buda Main Street Program has launched a temporary Curbside Pilot Program to help businesses in Historic Downtown Buda connect with their customers more conveniently.
Under the pilot program, signs will be placed in six key areas to assist customers with their curbside, pickup, or to-go orders from restaurants and retailers. Each sign will have an assigned number so customers can text or phone in their easily identifiable location. There will be 1-2 temporary curbside parking spaces per block with parking limits set to 10 minutes.
Throughout the pandemic, pickup and delivery options have become critical to the survivability of a business. This program increases convenience for quick pickup and delivery of takeout food from restaurants, curbside and pickup merchandise from retailers, and adds an additional measure to keep citizens and visitors safe.
Signage will be installed within the next two weeks. Below are the identified locations for the curbside parking spots.
The pilot program will run for approximately six months and will include a customer feedback component to measure the impact of the program on visitors and businesses.
